Switch?

I have a question. I like to switch, and so does my partner, but... Sometimes he switch his role in the middle of the session! For example, we begin as him being D and me being s, and then, at some point he wants me to take over… I, being a beginner, do get confused in this situation. So, my question is, does the others, some of you, love to switch roles in this manner? I can say that it is interested for me, but I need to learn and get experienced, so I'm asking what is your experience?

I'm pretty sure you two use a "safe word" when someone feels he wants to stop or is in too much pain or something like that he says a word or phrase he can never say by mistake as part of a session like "red waters".

you should use the same method when you want to switch.
you can also use certain body gestures to indicate if you like the it is going or want a little less or a little less of something the other one is doing to you.
for example if you are doing ballbusting you can agree that if he puts his hands on his balls or fall down and clinch the floor - you give his balls a rest until he gets up or spread his legs again.
